The boys are back in town, and see what happened on Day 18 of work at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA as the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for the 2016 NFL season.Sometimes as a head coach you have plans which Mother Nature doesn't agree with.This was the case for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they headed to the practice fields for an open practice, but due to severe thunderstorms in and around Latrobe, PA, it forced fans off of St. Vincent College campus, and the Steelers inside.

"Splash plays" could once again be the identity of Steelers defense in 2016
In the Steelers first preseason game of 2016, the defense continued a 2015 theme by allowing 294 passing yards to the Lions in a 30-17 loss Friday night at Heinz Field.Fortunately, Keith Butler's unit also continued its "splash plays" theme from a year ago and forced two first half turnovers that resulted in a 10-point swing.If you were hoping for a vast improvement in a Steelers pass-defense that finished 30th a year ago, you may be out of luck, as evidenced by the 294 yards the unit allowed through the air in a 30-17 loss to Detroit in the preseason opener at Heinz Field Friday night.
