Steelers notebook: Injury in practice might derail rookie nose tackle's debut as a starter
Javon Hargrave is in line to become the first rookie defensive lineman to start a season opener for the Steelers in 22 years if the knee injury in practice Monday is not serious.Hargrave went down early in practice Monday, the same day he was named the starting nose tackle ahead of Daniel McCullers.His teammates were holding out hope after practice that the injury will not prevent him from playing Monday night against the Washington Redskins.
